Biography

Dr. Tariquil Islam is an accomplished professional with seven years of experience in journalism, having worked as a reporter and sub-editor in Bangladesh's print and electronic media from 2011 to 2017. Driven by a passion for academic growth, he pursued a PhD in Journalism at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University, fully funded by the Turkish government. Prior to this, he completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka. During his PhD journey, he published multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating expertise in media, society, and crisis. After completing his PhD in 2024, he has been contributing to academia as a teacher, sharing valuable insights and knowledge in mass communication and journalism.
